Road Racing
Points to note are:
- PNP are running a 4 race winter series for Juniors and Women starting Sunday 11th July
- Kapiti Cycling Club are running a 5 race winter series starting 26th June
- The National team time trial competition is being held in Hamilton over Labour weekend and PNP would like to enter a number of teams. The weekend also includes a criterium and a 100km road race
Volunteers Required
Volunteering is a great part of being involved in any sports club - its vital to the health of the club, it gives you a chance to give something back to your club, and you get to see just what goes into keeping each race safe. Over the last couple of seasons we have had a volunteer roster so active road racing members have a chance to help for one or more races.
Up until 29 July you can select a race to volunteer for by emailing Malcolm with your name, contact details and the date of the race. After then, if you haven't selected one, one will be allocated.
If you cant make your date you need to find a replacement or swap, then let the Race Manager know. ..the forum might be one way to find someone - its not fair to leave it up to the Race Manager or someone else to fill your absence!
