1pm Sat 19th September: Online Entries close, if not filled prior.  (No on the day entries)

Sun 20th September

8:00 – 8:45am: Event sign-In (all events)

9:00am:  XCO race briefing

9:10am:  XCO Juniors and Seniors Start in waves

10:30am: Enduro-only sign-in closes

10:40am: U11/U13's Enduro race briefing then departure

11:10am: Main Enduro race briefing then departure  

11:15am: U11/U13 - Enduro race Starts

11:40am Main Enduro Starts

12:30pm: Enduro ended

1:00pm: Criterium Race 1

1:20pm: Criterium Race 2

1:30pm: Criterium Race 3

2:00pm:  Prizegiving

2:30pm:  Clean-up & Finish

Any type of bike may be used in the different events.

Ride notes

The MTB Champs will comprise three events – cross country (XCO), an Enduro stage (End) and a short Criterium race (Crit). A weighted points system is awarded for each event and a combined total determines the overall winner. If there is a point tie, your XCO placing will be the decider.

Championship Notes: (Club and College Sport Wellington)

This is essentially two championships being run in the same set of races, with two sets of eligibility criteria.

 

To be a PNP Club Champion, you must be a PNP Club Member at the time of racing. Additionally you must be registered in the OPEN Men/Women category - unless you are still in college.

​

To be eligible for a College Sport Wellington medal, riders must compete in all three events: the Enduro, XCO, and Criterium. Riders must also be enrolled in a college within the Wellington region, including Wellington, the Hutt Valley, and Kapiti.

​

College riders must enter in their correct age-group category to be eligible for an age-group title. Ages are determined as at 31 December 2026.

For example, a rider who is currently 16 years old but turns 17 before 31 December 2026 must compete in the U19 category, not the U17 category.

 

We will compare any Club + College riders to the Open Men/Women winners to see if they have better times/points and can be awarded the PNP Club Champion
