Ride notes

Courses will be made up of loops, short loops, long loops or a combination of both. The lap configuration will depend on your category. We run a social category for those who want to give the event a try or hang with their mates. The age grades are for those who want to ride with or against riders of their own age. Open Men and Open women are open to anyone, but the Open Men also incorporates the seniors, so it can be highly competitive. 

Please see your age group/category below to determine your course and the number of short and/or long loops you will be doing.

Race entry

Individual race entry is $35 for non PNP member adult riders. U19 riders and members receive discounted entry by applying the codes below.

PNP Members (19 Yrs+) Enter "PNP" for $10 off per race (=$25)
PNP Members (U19) Enter "PNP U19" for $15 off per race (=$20)
Non PNP Members (U19) Enter "U19" for $10 off per race (=$25)

Short Loop description

Start at Stratton St road end

Ride past the Wool shed and up the small rise (see dotted line on the map)

Veer left into 4 DEGREES and climb to the top (3km)

Except U11s who get to turn right into Connect 4 then Weta, then repeat this loop

At the top of 4 DEGREES follow the SHORT arrow right
Note: This is where the LONG loop splits off and re-joins

Right into ELECTRIC AVENUE descent

Cross Slogger Logger 4WD road into WETA descent to the wool shed to FINISH or

Turn right after the wool shed and do a sweeping loop around the shed

Enter 4 DEGREES if starting another loop (see solid line on the map line)

Long Loop description

Start at Stratton St road end

Ride past the Wool shed and up the small rise (see dotted line on the map)

Veer left into 4 DEGREES and continue to the top (3km)

Note: Ignore the U11 Shortcut which turns off after 800m in to Connect 4

At the top of 4 Degrees follow the LONG arrow left, up to OLD COACH ROAD (OCR) heading south
Note: This is where you both split from and re-join the SHORT loop

Caution: Keep left of cones > Obey Marshals at crossing point on OCR > then move to right of cones

Acute left up SWEETACRES

Head north on the SWEETACRES loop anticlockwise

Acute left off SWEETACRES and south along BULL-A-VARDE

Acute right down BULL RUN

At bottom stay left on trail and climb HILL ROAD CONNECTOR

At top turn right and descend BULL-A-VARDE S-Bends

Head north on OLD COACH ROAD

Caution: Keep right of the cones > Obey Marshals at crossing point on OCR > then move to left of cones

Turn left downhill

Note: take care merging with the SHORT Loop at the top of ELECTRIC AVENUE

Turn Right into ELECTRIC AVENUE descent

Cross Slogger Logger 4WD road into WETA descent to the Wool shed to FINISH or

Turn right after the wool shed and do a sweeping loop around the shed

Enter 4 DEGREES if starting another loop (see solid line on the map line)
