The course has moved from the one that was in the calendar. It is now on a new road off the right of Alexandra Rd which runs alongside Trentham race course towards the start of Wallaceville Hill.
It looks like a great course - a 1km rectangle on a new (empty) subdivision with hotmix tarseal. It is away from the traffic and should be a very safe course to race on.
Race entry is $5 for everyone, please bring your timing tag to ensure you are in the results.
We plan to have four grades racing - A through D - with the races either 30 minutes (B, C & D Grades) or 40 minutes (A Grade) long, then the bell will sound to signal 3 more laps to go.
But depending on numbers in each grade and the weather we may have to combine grades..please check start times below.Race Times:
1.00pm Registration Opens
1.30pm A Grade 40mins + 3 laps
2.15pm B Grade 30mins + 3 laps (may be combined with A grade if insufficient entries..so be ready to go at 1.30pm!)
2.50pm C Grade 30mins + 3 laps
3.20pm D Grade 30mins + 3 laps (may be combined with C grade if insufficient entries..so be ready to go at 2.50pm!)
Please don't park or warmup on the Crit Course, use the nearby roads.Andy Hagan is the race manager
